He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Smith Thomas; and his parents, Elliott Thomas and Julia Moore Thomas. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Jo McMeans (Danny) of Moore, SC and Lynn Kirby (Robert) of Gaffney, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
