He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Pearson Wood; his stepsons, Elder Aceius J. Pearson, Keith R. Pearson of Cowpens, SC, Jermayne "JT" Pearson, Brooklyn "Peanut" Wood, Bryson Kennedy and Brooks C. Wood, Jr. of Roebuck, SC; his sister Rosa Worthy of Cowpens, SC; his sister-in-law Minster Cindy Pearson; his niece Brenda Shippy (Victor); his adoptive son Donald Gibson (Dollie) of Spartanburg, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Pearson, Betty Glenn, Doris Alexander, Ethel Mae Brannon and Greer Casey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
