She was predeceased by: her parent Palmer Leland. She is survived by: her parent Bonnie Blackwell Freeman; her husband Carroll; her children, Sandra Barger (Steve) and Kevin Cox; her grandchildren, Jennifer Barger (Warren Musselman) and Amy Barger (Johnathon Franklin); her great grandchildren, Aidan Mitchell and Emma Claire Franklin; and her brother Samuel Hugh Freeman of Alexandria, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
