She was predeceased by: her significant other Joseph N. Burton, Jr.. She is survived by: her granddaughter Pamela Burton Bowman (Michael C. Bowman); her great grandchild Emily Jean Bowman of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Ali Burton Cook, Nathaniel Burton Cook and Owen Theodore Cook of Batesburg.
