With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles McKay of Monetta, South Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chapman McKay and Mattie Lou Jones McKay; and his former wife Rachel Boatwright McKay. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey McKay (Missy) of Monetta and Charles Tracy McKay (Amie) of Leesville; his sister Gloria Rodgers; his grandchildren, Jonathon McKay (Mary), Jason McKay, Garrett McKay (Ashley), Matthew McKay (Heidi) and Amanda McKay Johnson (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Justin, Millie McKay, Kyndall and Kash Johnson.
