It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilson Russell of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, born in Ridgeville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Russell and Pauline Scott Russell; his sons, Tony Russell and Billy Ray Driggers; his sister Lilly White; and his great grandchild Trevor Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Garcia Russell; his children, Kimberly Taylor (Kevin) of Columbia, Shannon Russell (Aaron Battle) of North Charleston and Lee Russell of Moncks Corner; his siblings, Marie R. Mangrum of Ridgeville, Alfair Frank (Rick) of Tampa, Fla., Hazel Barnes (Barney) of Summerville and Sammy Russell (Kay) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Michael Chester (Emily), Erica Clark (Joey), Ashley Jerido, Halie Russell, Shyanne Taylor, Sierra Russell, Desirae Russell and Jonathan Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Clark, Chandler Clark, Shiloh Clark, Alayah Jerido, Fredrick Wade, Jr., Jasmine Wade and Jakayus Johnson.
