He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Lee Britt and Lillian Lambert Britt; his granddaughter June Guerry; his wife Adelle Thompkins Britt; his children, Nancy Adel Whitmire (Timothy) of Macedonia and Charles Edward Britt (Linda) of St. Stephen; his brother Laverne Britt of Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Stacy Clearman, Josh Clearman, April Guerry, Rachel Guerry, Victoria Craven, Laura Guerry and Lil'Charles Britt. He was also cherished by twelve great grandchildren.
