It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Perry Jr. of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Perry Sr. and Gladys F. Perry; and his brother Jonathan G. Perry. He is survived by: his son Derrick Major of Moncks Corner, SC; his grandchildren, Mikaela, Elijah and Pierson; his siblings, Abraham P. Perry (Doshia) of Lancaster, SC, Mary L. Glover of Brooklyn, NY, Elder Martha P. Dixon (Richard Lee) of Moncks Corner, SC and Delores V. Perry of Moncks Corner, SC; and his sister-in-law Catherine M. Perry of Sumter, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
