He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ann O'Brien; his stepfather Harry Pate of Ladson, SC.; and his siblings, Scott O'Brien (Amy) of Kentucky, Laurie O'Brien of Moncks Corner and Kelly O'Brien Vernarec (Steve) of Goose Creek, SC.. He was also cherished by 9 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
