She is survived by: her children, Monique Walker (Kelvin), Mario McElveen, Sequyoah McElveen and Candance Canty (Lester); her foster children, Shaquia Myers and Shamika Myers; her siblings, Michael McElveen, Doris McElveen, Arthur Green and Maria McElveen; and her former husband Robert Carter. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
