We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2020, at the age of 93, Viola McCay of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, born in Saint Stephen, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Edward Lail and Annie Mae Boyer Lail; and her brothers, Bill, Burley, Charles, James and Lewis Lail.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Fort (Wyman) of Beaver Dam, Donna McCay of Chesnee, SC and Tammy Tanner (Kip) of Macedonia; her grandchildren, Shontell Mahon (Wendell), Blaine Thomas (Scott) and Jason Tanner (Katie); her great grandchildren, Justin Mahon, Wendell Mahon, Jr., Brenden Mahon, Tyler Medinger, Ava Thomas, Rowan Thomas, Na'Ryan Bookert, Skarlett Tanner and Stella Tanner; and her great great grandchildren, Silas Mahon, Kyler Mahon and McKinley Allison.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Lake Moultrie Nursing Home, and to Sylvia and Gale of Regency Southern Care Hospice. ***DUE TO THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, ANYONE ATTENDING A FUNERAL SERVICE OR A VISITATION SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION.
