Vaniel L. is survived by: wife Ashley D. Danzy; children, Desmond Danzy, Jarvis Danzy, Brandon Danzy, Ethan Thomas, Laylah Brown and Evan Danzy; parents, Helen M. Woods and Vaniel L. Danzy, Sr. (Juanita Leecost); siblings, Dania Woods Haynes (Tyrone), Antonio Woods, Antonette Woods and Patience Brockington; and mother-in-law Sharon Brown. Vaniel L. is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.
