He was predeceased by: his father Minister Ezekiel Smith; and his siblings, Esau Smith and Virgie Snider. He is survived by: his children, Timothy James Smith, Jr., Tia Marie Smith, Damon Ezekiel Smith (Shanta) and Damontre Laquon Smith; his mother Elder Elouise B. Smith; his grandchildren, Imarri, Qaysuan, King Moultrie, Shonterria, Damon Jr. and De'Moni Smith; and his siblings, Minister Matthew Smith (Patricia), Elder Sheila Pinckney, Annie Dozier (Dennis), Minister Georgianne Edwards and Viola Green (Emuel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Canaan Christian Church (1232 Queenie Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Canaan Memorial Gardens.
