He is survived by: his parents, John W. "Bill" Gunter and Maggie Ferrer Gunter; his wife Brandy Harley Gunter of Moncks Corner; his stepson Joey Velez (Elysabeth) of Moncks Corner; his brother Bryan D. Gunter (Rachel) of Charlotte; his close friend Chan Powell; his stepgranddaughter Lakelyn Velez; and his niece Madeline Belle Gunter. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
