We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2022, at the age of 99, Samuel Darby (Moncks Corner, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Betty Darby Jackson; his brothers, Albert, Edward, Delmas, Moses Alton, Archie and Donald Darby; and his stepmother Corine Paulin Darby.
He is survived by: his children, Gailya D. Warren of Hartford, CT, Cheryl Samira Darby of Zurich, Switzerland, Franklin E. Darby (Iris) of Tampa, FL and Michael D. Darby (Vivian) of Hartford, CT; his sisters, Delores Darby of Lake City, SC, Linda D. Wilson (Fred) of St. Stephen, SC, Marie D. Hubert (Beamon) and Evangeline Moorer (Bennie) of Far Rockaway, NY; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Darby, Oprah Darby, Julia Darby, Frances Darby, Thomasina G. Wilson and Edward Green (Lorraine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
