He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Tillie Powell and Bertha McCumbee Powell; his son Larry Powell; his grandson Larry Powell, Jr.; his children, Rhonda Thomas (Jerry) of Bonneau and Roger Dale Powell (Deborah) of West Ashley; his daughter-in-law Teresa Powell of Hanahan; his sister Bernice Isbell of Anderson; his grandsons, Rocky Powell, Bryan Dale Powell (Julisse Jimenez Vicentini), James Powell (Jennifer) and Scott B. Powell (Charles Featherstone); and his great grandchildren, Tristan Kinard, Jackson, Caleb, Jaden and Camden Powell.
