He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bennett and Edith Bennett of St. Stephen; his brothers, Donald and Howard Bennett; and his grandson Billy Welsh.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bennett; his children, Lisa DeAngelis (John), Rene'Bedenbaugh (Jonathan), Mike McQuaid, Michelle Colombatti and Victoria Beyer (Brian); and his grandchildren, Lydia Yasso, John DeAngelis, Joshua, Matthew Bedenbaugh, Sierra Hernandez, Michael McQuaid, Mckenzie Bowen and Wyle Beyer. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner (419 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the Berkeley County-South Carolina Historical Society or First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner.
