He is survived by: his son Richard Mark Willard II (Angelica); his grandchildren, Mikayla Rose of Phoenix, Mason Mark of Phoenix and Mila Anne of Phoenix; his mother Dot Starnes Willard of Boiling Springs, SC; his siblings, Pamela W. Stowell of Lexington, SC and Joel Willard of Spartanburg; his nieces, April W. Purser and Lacey W. Taylor of Spartanburg; his nephew Jonathan Stowell of Denton, Texas; and also Lena.
