He is survived by: his children, Richard Welch of St. Matthews and Michelle Steadman (Tim) of Cameron; his brother Allen Welch of Moncks Corner; his grandchildren, Alex Steadman, Paige Steadman, Kristen Steadman and Morgan Welch; and his nephews, Ricky Welch and Cale Lang.
