He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard M. Carr, Sr. and Louise Harris Carr; his sister Lynn Wyndham; his wife Margaret Sims Carr; his children, Misty N. Hiers (Harris) of St. Stephen, Molly Ollic (Patrick) of Bonneau and Mark W. Carr (Angela) of Summerville; his brothers, Danny Carr of Summerville, Mike Carr of St. Stephen, Otto Carr of St. Stephen, Glenn Carr of Moncks Corner and Andy Carr of Alvin; and his grandchildren, Mark "BoBo" Carr, Hydie "Pumpkin" Hiers, Hayden "JoJo" Hiers and Ava.
