He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newton Cross, Sr. and Florrie Bernice Sandefur Cross; his wife Ann H. Cross; and his brothers, Robert N. Cross, Jr., James F. Cross and Layton Cross.
He is survived by: his children, Reginald Cross, Jr. of Berkeley County, Michael A. Cross of Berkeley County, Samuel M. Cross of Berkeley County, Stephen M. Cross of Berkeley County and Elizabeth C. Sweatman of Berkeley County; his sister Elizabeth C. Willis; and his stepchildren, Sydney Lewis, III and Linda Miles. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 4 step great-grandchildren.
