It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Queen G. Mobley (Moncks Corner, South Carolina), born in Russellville, South Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Talmadge Gadsden and Louisa Prioleau Gadsden; her son James Windel Mobley; and her siblings, Ruth Murray, Helen Johnson (Bearthur), Bernice Addison (Ransom Jr.), Ernestine Gadsden and Robert L. Gadsden.
She is survived by: her children, Betty J. M. Lane (Raymond) of New Jersey, William Cleophas Mobley (Elissa) of St. Stephen, SC, Michael Owens Mobley (Marie) and Leslie Louise Mobley; her siblings, Lutha Mae Johnson (Ollie), Julia Ann Brunson (Charles) and Curtis Lee Gadsden (Marsha); and her brother-in-law Nelson Murray. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
