He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Clarence Collins and Eunice Hutto Collins; and his wife Annette Young Collins. He is survived by: his children, Annette C. Tate (Randy) of Florence, C. Olin "Bubba" Collins, Jr. (Darlene), Simmie C. Benenhaley (David) of Moncks Corner, SC and Deirdre "Dee" C. Knight of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Erica Tate of Florence, Justin Tate of Florence, Dr. Nicholas "Buddy" Tate (Kathy) of Simpsonville, SC, Dr. C. Olin "Tripp" Collins, III (Erin), Travis Collins (Kate), Taylor Collins, Tanner Collins and Ivey; his children, Sonita, Jacklyn Benenhaley of Moncks Corner, Zachery Knight of Mt. Pleasant and Matthew Knight of Mt. Pleasant; his great grandchildren, Raven, Ryley Tate, Jovie, Levan and Davin; his sons, Owen and Sean Tate; and his pet Butch.
