She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Charles Sims and Janie Louise Lockhart Sims; her daughter Mary Ellen West; her brothers, William "Billy" Quincy Sims and Allen Ray Sims; her children, Karen Mobley (James) of Rice Hope, Donna Russell of Manning and Lee West (Tina) of Bonneau Beach; and her sister Jeanette Goodyear of Hollister. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
