She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ellis Smith of Kingsport and Doris A. Kolb; her stepfather Dawson Kolb of Charleston, SC; and her brother Charles "Tim" Smith of Johnson City, TN.. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Biering-Stevens and Anna A. Hopson; her family, S. David Dean (Melissa) of Schertz, TX, R. Anthony "Tony" Dean of Moncks Corner, SC and C. Michael Dean (Tracey) of Hinton, WV; and her sisters, Karen Mann of Florida and Cheryl Graves of Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (319 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
