She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Avery Waits Pitman and Willie Mae McKinney Pitman; her grandson Marcus Boggs; her husband W. Bruce Rutherford; her children, DeAnna Moss (Terry) of Mt. Pleasant, Rebecca Kleinschmidt of Monroe, Georgia and Ronald Rutherford (DeVon) of Bethel Park, PA; her brother Terry Pittman of Nebo, NC; and her grandchildren, Nicole Kleinschmidt, Dakota Kleinschmidt, Hunter Kleinschmidt, Victoria Rutherford and Jarrett Rutherford.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Life Baptist Church, 111 Old Moncks Corner Road, Goose Creek, SC, 29445.
