He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ransom Otto Welch and Annie Morris Welch; his children, Sandra Owens and Gary Welch; his wife Doris Chance Welch; his children, Kathy Britt (Glenn) of Macedonia, Michael Welch (Janice) of Macedonia, Kevin Welch (Jennifer) of Macedonia and Kenny Welch (Naomi) of Holly Hill; his sister Gertrude Fort of Macedonia; and his grandchildren, Brian Welch, Cody Welch, Macey Welch, Sara Welch, April Welch, Connor Welch, Emily Welch, Anna Welch, Susan Prine, Donald Britt, Andy Britt, Danny Dean and Tonya Morley. He was also cherished by eighteen great grandchildren.
