She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel W. McKenzie and Esther Gaynelle Gaymon McKenzie; her close friend Lucille Wrenn; her pets, Sam and Dolly; her husband Perry; her stepson Eric Fabre; her siblings, Melissa McKenzie, Red McKenzie, Belvy Gaskins (Jimmy) of Moncks Corner, Katie Gaskins Koth (Robert) of Huger, Joyce Ann Johnson of Kissimmee, FL and Janice Sweigert (Bob) of Lima, OH; her stepson Brian Fabre of Bonneau; her grandchildren, Megan Smith (Mark) of Moncks Corner and Mason Fabre of Bonneau; and her great grandchildren, Nolan Smith and Gracie Smith.
