He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Lynn Laney and Glenice Sue Blevins Laney; and his brother Johnny Laney. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his sons, Drew Laney of Columbia and Kraig Laney (Brooke) of Daniel Island; and his siblings, Janice Mays (Greg) of Murphy, NC and Wayne Laney (Rosie) of Tybee Island. He is also survived by friends and three dogs, that he loved like his kids.
