She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry McElveen and Bertie Lucille Thornhill McElveen; her siblings, Clara Mae McElveen, Betty Grimsley, Reba McElveen, R. L. McElveen and W. D. McElveen; and her husband Bobby E. Schurlknight.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene P. Little (Chad) of Alvin and Jack R. "Richie" Douglas of Alvin; her siblings, Faye Williamson of Cross, Ronnie McElveen of St. Stephen and Bill Grimsley of Alvin; and her grandchildren, Madison and Easton Little.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Hospice of Charleston, 4975 Lacross Rd., Ste. 200, N. Charleston, SC 29406.
