He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Beech Earley and Thomas Fredrick Earley; and his wife Helen Shuler Earley. He is survived by: his children, A. M. Earley and Tommy Earley (Sarrah); his brothers, Richard Earley (Rosilyn), Sam Earley (Debbie) and David Earley (Linda); and his sisters-in-law, Martha Shuler and April Shuler. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
