She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbert Lee May, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Wilbert L. May, Jr. and Quanchico May; her stepdaughter Deyandrea Smalls; her daughter Renee Garner; her siblings, Joan Jefferson (Elijah Jr.), Wilhelmina Mood (Anthony Sr.), Queen Ester Ward (Frank), Loretta McCray, Doretha Singleton, David Brown (Michelle), Clifford Brown, Richard Brown (Karen), John Brown and Joseph Brown; and her mother-in-law Ethel Mae Best May. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
