It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Jenkins of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Jenkins and Harriet Bartley Jenkins; his former wife Loretta Jenkins; his children, Wilford White, Tracy Jenkins and Kay Gaillard; and his brothers, Curtis Jenkins Sr. and James Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Jenkins; his children, Larry Jenkins (Jacinda) of St. Stephen, SC, Gail Jenkins of Gulf Port, MS and Debra Jenkins of Goose Creek, SC; his adoptive son Quentin Young; and his siblings, Lawrence Jenkins (Rosa) of Moncks Corner, SC, Benjamin Jenkins (Jane) of Trenton, NJ, Louise Muhammad of Moncks Corner, SC and Emily Brown of Moncks Corner, SC. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
