He is survived by: his wife Rosalin Pinckney-Evans; his stepchildren, Tacisha Pinckney, Desmond Pinckney and Jerrell Pinckney; his grandchildren, Jateema, Jordan and De'vhon Boatwright; his siblings, Varnetta Major Evans, Brenda (Darryl) of Washington, Freda Manigault (Abraham), Fred Evans, Jr. (Carole), Oralee Capers (Larry), Arthur Evans (Denise), LaVerne Dawson (Leroy), Cheryl Evans and Pamela Evans; his aunt Cecila Major; and his siblings-in-law, Zellaree Pinckney, Barbara Brooks, Nadien Rivers, Patricia Pinckney, Willie Pinckney and Leonard Pinckney. He is also survived by 12 nieces; 9 nephews.
