He is survived by: his wife Virginia Janet Guess Baker; his daughters, Georgia Porter (Myles), Jenice Boone, Benita Jo Newman (Willie) and Candace Plaskett (Kevin); his grandchildren, Renea Reddish, Warren Barker, Jeffrey Barker, Lakeshia Tew (Rodino), Charnice Butts, Anthony Boone (Bria), Angellette Boone, Willie Newman III, Ka'Bria Drummond (Braxton), Charles Newman and Jonathan Richards; his sister Jackquilin Baker-Hall; and his siblings-in-law, Marguerite Brant (Harold), Thelma Shaw, Marjorie Guess and Jerry Hill. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
