He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thompson; his children, John Thompson Jr., Patricia (Larry) of Washington, LaToya Bradley (Nathaniel), David Bradley and Michael Heyward; his grandchildren, Dateka Crawford (Ellis), Diontae Thompson, Jonathan Brown, Peyton Thompson, Jeaphia White, Marquez Bradley and Shanaisha Bradley; his great grandchildren, Bryson Crawford and Payton Thompson; his siblings, Apostle Alex Palmer, Jr. (Clayretta), Arthur "Dale" Thompson (Corine), Leroy Palmer (Beulah), Carrie Wilson, Leala Palmer, Carline Chukwulobe, Shirley Davis (Dennis) and Linda Palmer; his mother-in-law Sarah Krauss; his uncle Jacob Thompson; his aunt Phyllis Myers; his cousin Betty Stevens; and his siblings-in-law, Lilly Quarterman (Robert), Treecie Lewis (Ronald), Connie Morrison, Aleathia Simmons, Jackie Williams, Evelyn Heyward, James Johnson and George Durant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
