He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sara Kirkley Gentry; his siblings, Paul Gentry and Juanita Gentry Willey; his children, John Ralph Gentry III (Tamara), Susan Gay Gentry, Lisa Gentry Cook and Pop; and his grandchildren, John Ralph Gentry IV, Jason Avrin Gentry (Melissa), Travis Gentry (Lacey), Parker Cook, Ashley Betts (Thomas) and Justin Mathis.
