She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh E. McKnight and Olive Bunch McKnight; her son David E. Pipkin; her siblings, Marjorie Self, Jack McKnight and John McKnight; and her husband William E. Pipkin, III.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Winningham of Summerville, Lisa Creech of Moncks Corner and Michael E. Pipkin of Newmanstown, PA; her sisters, Edith Ellsworth of Madison, AL and Kate Wilkie of Murrells Inlet; and her grandchildren, Tyler Winningham, Jeffrey Winningham, Courtland Creech, Taylor Bond, David Matthew Pipkin, Carrie Podhirny, Katie Eckert, Jonathan Pipkin and Andrew Pipkin. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
