With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim R. Brotherton of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, born in Whitmire, South Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sterling Brotherton and Mae Duncan Brotherton; his grandson Tyler Scott; and his siblings, Nelle Ramage, Betty Cox, Quillen Brotherton, Bill Brotherton and David Brotherton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Scott (Bubba) of Moncks Corner and Christal Brotherton of Moncks Corner; his close friend Joyce Davis of Pinopolis; his granddaughters, Johnna Brotherton (Art) and Hannah Hanks (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Briley Scott, Paisley Scott, Lakynn Scott, Daisy Brooks, Ellie Brooks, Tripp Brooks, Tenley Hanks, Maysen Hanks and Tyler Grace Hanks.
