He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Hood and Louise Pipkin Hood; and his brothers, Phillip "Roy" Hood and Ronald C. Hood. He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Teresa H. Clemons (Tim) of Macedonia, Jennings R. "Bert" Hood (Donna) of Macedonia and Robert G. "Greg" Hood (Lynn) of Macedonia; and his sisters, Rosalinde Luff Howell of Macedonia and Sandra H. Thomas (Jackie) of Macedonia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
