She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Headden and Annie Lee Mitchell Headden; her siblings, Shirley Tisdale, Ola Mae Litchfield, Gladys Sweatman, Dalco Headden, L. E. Headden, Ben Lee Headden and John Lee Headden; her son Joseph Lee Peagler, Jr.; and her husband Joseph Lee Peagler.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Gaskins (Sherwood) of Bonneau, Betty Ruth Peagler Crenshaw (Hal) of Moncks Corner, Glenn Allen Peagler (Jackie) of Moncks Corner and Ronald Dean Peagler (Cheryl) of Bonneau; and her sisters, Nell O'Conner of Bonneau and Joann Mullinax of Moncks Corner. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
