Torrance (Richard) of Charlotte; his stepdaughter Cindy Ballentine (Renne) of Campobello; his sons, James William "Billy" Simmons (Whitney) of Yulee and Jackson F. "Buck" Simmons, II (Melissa) of Moncks Corner; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Sara, Jimmy, Katie, Paige, Trey, Hayden, River, Reef, Maggie, Elizabeth, Johnny and Morgan. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
