With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bennett of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James L. Bennett, Sr. and Wilhelminia Davis Bennett; his wife Nancy Absher Bennett; his daughters, Theresa Bennett of Moncks Corner, Dawn McCutchen (Mitch) of Moncks Corner and Melissa "Missy" Ponce (Micah) of Moncks Corner; his siblings, Gladys Richbourg of Wadmalaw Is, Beverly Ashe of Moncks Corner and Kenneth Bennett (Lois) of Moncks Corner; and his grandchildren, Logan Ponce, Shelby McCutchen and Camryn McCutchen.
Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests memorials be made to the Macedonia Christian Church Youth Group, c/o Ann Wilson, 1165 Betsy Hole Rd., Bonneau, SC 29431 Mr. Bennett was born August 28, 1942, in Charleston, SC, a son of James L. Bennett, Sr., and Wilhelminia Davis Bennett.
