He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Richardson and Nancy Ravenel Richardson; his siblings, Freddie Richardson, Edward Wiggins, Dora Brown and Peggy Wiggins; and his daughter Sylvia Jean Morton.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Jamison Richardson of Summerville, SC; his daughter Terry Bowman (Charles) of Summerville, SC; his son-in-law Roscoe Morton of Jacksonville, FL; and his sister Jessie Bonaparte of North Carolina. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
