It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Mae Sutton (Moncks Corner, South Carolina), born in McClellanville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Sutton and Rosalie Winns Sutton; her siblings, Samuel Sutton, James Sutton, Christopher Sutton, John Sutton, Tony Sutton, Leroy Sutton, Richard Sutton, Jessie Sutton Sr., Nancy Flowers and Margaret Reid; and her sisters-in-law, Julia Gillyard Sutton Rollins, Julia Jenkins Sutton and Ethel Jenkins Sutton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Earnestine S. Campbell of McClellanville, SC and Annette Sutton of Georgetown, SC; her grandchildren, Alexander D. Campbell of St. Stephen, SC, Jessica C. Burton of Charlotte, NC, Jessie J. Campbell of Dallas, TX, Preston Sutton of Philadelphia, PA, Kendra Sutton of Cainhoy, SC, Jasmine Sutton of Georgetown, SC and Anastassia Sutton of Georgetown, SC; her great grandchildren, Tywon Herd, Ivan Campbell, Jada Simmons, Jada Campbell, Jaylen Campbell, Joshua Burton, Tevyn Green, Aubrey Burton, Imani Singleton and Marcellis Singleton, Jr.; her sister Evalena Sutton of McClellanville, SC; and her sister-in-law Mary Sutton of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
