She was predeceased by: her daughter Barbara Jean Collins. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Isreal Collins Jr. of Stone Mountain and Richard Jerome Collins of Moncks Corner; her daughter-in-law Sharon Fennell Collins of Stone Mountain; her brother George; and her sister-in-law Melissa Collins of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Collins early church affiliation was with Charity Baptist Church of North Charleston where she served as a choir member.
