It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herlene Johnson of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Melvin Johnson, Sr.; and her children, Dorothy C. Lloyd and Marion Glenn Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Elder Betty Haynes Richardson (Leroy), Saleemah Shaheed (Omar), Melvin Johnson, Jr. (Ann), Kenneth V. Johnson (Octavia), Dr. Danny Johnson (Cynthia) and Anthony Johnson (Dana). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
