She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Edward Rivers (Mary Lee), Dorothy Summers, Daniel Green (Janice), Amber Palmer, Vanessa Altman (Jimmy), Anthony Simmons, Thomas Simmons (Doretha) and Mark Simmons, Sr. (Valerie); her siblings, Christine Buncum, Ben Butler (Idabelle), Betty Butler and Deloris Butler; and her husband Henry Leroy Simmons. She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
