With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria K. Britt of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemons Edward Bell and Ada Binnarr Thomas; her stepfather Rouse H. Thomas; and her siblings, Vicki Thomas and Ralph Hampton "R. B." Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Kent O. Britt; her children, Anthony F. Dennis (Angel) of Bonneau and Aimee B. Peterson (Terry) of Mount Pleasant; her siblings, Sandra B. Phipps (Carol Napier) of Conway, Angie Zahn (Clyde) of Macedonia and Eddie Bell of Manning; her grandchildren, Amber D. Gatlin (Tracy) of Saint Stephans, Britt R. Peterson and Brice D. Peterson; and her great grandchildren, Peyton and Brooklyn.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home (869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harleyville Cemetery (Commerce Dr, South Carolina 29448).
