She was predeceased by: her daughter Carolyn McCord; and her siblings, Aleene Smith, Jack Hayes and John Hayes. She is survived by: her parents, Grady Helms and Pearl Tarleton Helms; her children, Linda M. Howard and Curtis L. Martin of Moncks Corner; her son-in-law Gerry McCord (Suzanne) of Mt; her husband Raymond of Peachland, NC; her brothers, Douglas Hayes (Alice) of Gaston, Grady Theron Helms (Jean) of Zebulon, NC, Jack Helms (Judy) of New London, NC and Randy Helms (Joan) of Wingate, NC; her sisters-in-law, Patsy Martin of Andrews and Jane Helms of Homerville; her grandchildren, Jeff Wolter of Palm Springs, Laura Chase of Aiken, Beth Simmons of Charlotte, NC, Tara Ray of Andrews and Vette Martin of Cary, NC; and also, West Ashley and Pleasant.
